A new and rapidly growing area of gymnastics. Our cheerleading teams combine music, dance, acrobatics and tumbling in spectacular style. In fact, Carmel & Co cheerleaders have brought home a swag of trophies from state and national competitions in the last several years. Classes cater for first timers through to advanced cheerleaders, both boys and girls

Seahorses (Intermediate 8 – 12yrs) Saturday 12:00pm – 1:00pm

STEPS 201
STEPS 201 have a Junior Competition Squad ranging in ages from 7 - 15 yrs who compete in regional, state & national competitions each year. They train at Castle Hill on Wednesdays. Their Captain is Amy Huggett.
We have a Senior Competition Squad ranging in ages from 14 - 25 yrs who compete in state, national & international competitions each year and are currently training to compete in USA in 2007. They train at Castle Hill on Wednesdays.
We also have a professional cheersquad called The Honeybears. The Honeybears cheer for the North Sydney Bears Football Club at all of their home games performing rank'n'files, sideline cheers & half time performance routines. These girls audition to be a part of the squad and range in age from 16 - 30 yrs. They train on Mondays at Kellyville and their Captain is Coralie Ward.
We also hold fun recreational cheerleading classes for students aged from 2.5 - 20 yrs of age at Kellyville and Glenwood and students learn all the elements of cheerleading in these classes from dance routines, to stunts and tumbling. These students often have the opportunity to perform at sporting and charity events as well.

DIAMOND DANCERS - SEVEN HILLS
Diamond Dancers & Promotions (www.diamonddancers.bravehost.com) are
dedicated to the art and education of cheerleading in Australia. Based in
Sydney this promotional company now has four cheerleading groups available:
Demons Sports Senior Cheerleaders - the Demonettes
Venue: Demons Sports Club Seven Hills
Train: Tuesday evenings 7.30pm-9.00pm
For this team girls must be over the age of 16 with dance and or cheer
experience. They will learn all aspects Australian cheerleading.
Incorporating the sexy dance styles of the Australian NRL, being a part of
this squad allows you to use your talents as a dancer, wear some fun funky
outfits and perform for one of Australia's Premier league teams. (High level
of commitment required as various paid performances are offered to this
team). THIS TEAM IS BY AUDITION ONLY and DOES NOT INCURR A CLASS FEE.

Demons Sports Pre-Squad

Pre-squad is a chance for girls at a beginner level (open aged) who need to
increase their dance and performance skills and want to experience
Australian cheerleading. In this team you will learn dance, human movement,
and cheers. Also you will get to cheer for the Demons Rugby league Main
Games and under 20's every home game and have the chance of progressing
towards main squad and cheerleading as a reserve for the main teams.

Diamond Competition Squad
Venue: Demons Sports Club Seven Hills
Train: Monday evenings 6.30pm-8.00pm
This team is a mix of our best students from both Demons Sports Squads, this
group learns American Style Cheerleading including gymnastics, stunting,
cheers and chants. A basic understanding of dance and ryhthem is required
for this team however no cheerleading experience is neccessary. This class
is the ULTIMATE CHEER EXPERIENCE OF THE WEST!!!

Lightning Squad Liverpool - "STRIKE EM DOWN"
Venue: Liverpool Girls High School Sporting fields
Train: 10am-11.30am Saturdays
Located in the heart of the South West, this American syle team will be
brining spirit back into the heart of Liverpool.
This is the experience of a lifetime. Students will learn all aspects of
American/Competitive Cheerleading and compete in state and national
competitions. You will also get to learn gymnastics skills including
tumbling and group stunting at the Team Cheer level (an official
cheerleading sylabus written by Gymnastics Australia) and All-Star elite
level. Not to mention the fabulous art of human movement and dance
skills.You don't need any experience for this team, just eager to learn and
a great attitude.

We train on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
Training takes place on Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons.
This is the Angels first year as a squad and we compete in the All Stars Division in Gymnastics Australia Competitions. We also do performances around the local area at school and sporting events.
